A Modern Plant
Since January 2011, Gen-Art has been operating in a modern structure built on an area of 40.000 square meters. The office building is spread over an area of 3.500 square meters and includes the offices: administrative, commercial, logistic, agent school and meeting area.
The numbers of energy saving
A 198,72 KWP photovoltaic system, consisting of 1104 polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules.
The importance of cultivating an ethical awareness of work has guided Gen-Art towards operational choices aimed at reducing the environmental impact by adopting rigorous energy saving criteria.
The photovoltaic system, which came into operation in June 2011, generated a rapid benefit from an environmental point of view by reducing the production of carbon dioxide (CO2). The plant completely satisfies the company's energy needs (quantifiable in 115.000 kg) which in its small way contributes to bringing Italy closer to the quantities required by the Kyoto protocol.
